I recently made a soundtrack out of the game's audio files. It's not pinpoint accurate to the in-game music, but it's better than having the constant sound effects.
You need to go into the games files:
Windows (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > INSIDE > INSIDE_Data > StreamingAssets > Audio
There are a list of .wem files that contain the ambience tracks, but are in no particular order. What I did was copy them over to an external folder, then sorted them each into separate folders for each track. Then, through Audacity, compiled what you see. Some tracks will be left over, as I couldn't find which track they go with.
If you want to make your own tracks, be my guest.
Yeah, they are supposed to be that way. If you don't want them to be mono, just make two copies of the mono track and stitch them together with the Make Stereo Track tool.
