Are there multiple endings? (Minor spoilers)

I'm just wondering if the ending I got is the only ending to the game, or if there's multiple endings. I found a couple secrets throughout my adventure, and considered the possibility that finding and disabling all of the "Power cores" might yield a different ending. The ending I got was certainly... Interesting... To say the least. I will probably take another day or two to try and piece the story together in my head, but I still have just oh so many unanswered questions.

I'm not asking anyone to trying and explain the story to me as it may very well be up to personal interperetation; I just want to know if there's anything that I might have missed by not finding all of the secrets. Thanks!

There is a 'secret' ending, but it's probably not what you'd expect, and may present you with MORE questions than answers. It's worth trying to get it though. It involves finding all the secret orbs yes, but there's another step. It's not as simple as simply just finding them all.

Lol, MORE questions? Haha, I'll probably run through the game again and try to find everything. If I still don't figure it out I'll probably end up looking up how to do it, but that's still good to know there's something else out there to find.
