There isn't any game I actually *enjoyed* on VR. Virtually every VR-Game on steam is a stupid tech demo that you can play for 20 minutes before getting bored. Adr1ft was alright, but short and godawfully boring.
I'd love to see Firewatch as VR.
I can play a bit of Dirt Rally which is a really good game and also Chronos is pretty good.
For old times sake I also enjoyed Quake.
You can still have 2D to even a side scroller if you set cameral like Chronos, i just want to be more immersed with 3D sound and a sense of scale.
What I've seen in Lucky's Tale video on youtube is that their engine fully renders 3D surroundings. It was designed to be that way from the beginning. It's not actually sidescroller game
I imagine the immersion factor within VR would be absolutely unmatched. No distraction from the environment or borders of the monitor.
I played it with Big Screen with a huge virtual screen up close. Not technically VR, but way more immersive than playing on a regular monitor.
The problem I have with theatre mode is that the resolution gets a lot lower compared to a regular screen. Still pretty cool though.
This would be awesome. Devs... any chance?
3rd pearson games are awesome in VR! Astro Bot is one of the best reviewed PS4 game. Other great exemples are Moss, Chronos, HellBlade: Senuas Sacrifice, Edge of Nowhere, Pixel Ripped 1989, Lucky's Tale and Carly and the Reaperman: Escape from the Underworld.
