Would you mind sharing screenshots of the room or how you accessed it? I’m quite curious, as I may not have found that room myself.

go to checkpoint 3 of pastel strata, build yourself up a lot of speed by hitting the vector blocks, bouncing with ball on the ceiling when you hit it,and then hitting the vector block again. do this untill sufficient speed is built up,i usually do this from the center one,and then slide to the left twice. when you get to the spot with all your vertical vector speed built up release crouch to make the countdown start again, and once in the air, ball. this will send you over the purple blocks from basin and into a new place. go to the center semi-solid and slide into the wall to get to a completely new area. once at the other side of it,you will find another semi-solid stuck in a wall, and once you slide into the wall again, you will be there

Ah, I see! There are multiple ways to reach that place, but I hadn't considered starting from Pastel Strata checkpoint 3.

When I solved that puzzlen in the secret room:
  1. I jumped onto the slim, tall platform next to the right charge blocks.
  2. I dropped down from the platform, used the right charge blocks to gain speed, then turned into a ball to bounce around the room clockwise. If done correctly, this will lead you to the left charge blocks. You may need to make some adjustments to increase your jump height (e.g., by hitting the tall yellow fence).
  3. After hitting the left charge blocks, I dropped down from the semi-solid platform, released a charged up-swing to gain more speed while falling, and then turned into a ball to bounce around the room. If done correctly, this will lead you to the goal. Note that you may need to exit ball mode immediately after bouncing off the bottom-right diagonal surface.
There is another set of charge blocks near the end of the puzzle, but they aren't necessary if you gained enough speed after falling from the left charge blocks.
