Hexcells Infinite level 6-5 - Solution - How to finish the middle (spoiler)
To finish level 6-5, you need to have only the middle left. That is, you have a blue 6 in the top, a blue 8 in the middle and a black questionmark in the buttom.

Also count the alle paths that goes through the middle, from both sides and from above. All in all there should be the 8 blue around the middle hex + the blue 8 itself, making it 9 all in all. So counting paths starting from the left and above, we will have:

Left lines: 2, 1, 4, 1, 1 blues making it all in all 9 blues in the middle
Rights lines: 2, 2, 2, 2, 1 blues, also giving 9
Lines from above: 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, also 9 blues all in all

Also remark the area that 6 covers. In the middle it only covers 5 blues (because there is one blue outside the middle). The area in the middle that 6 does NOT cover we call anti 6 area. In the middle the 6 area covers 5 blues, and the anti 6 area covers 8-5=3 blues.

Mark the 6 area, so you can see the anti 6 area. In the anti area we need to find 3 blues. If you mark the two lower paths from the right (the one from 9 and the one from 8) they will cover respectively 2 and 1 blues. That gives us the 3 blues, so the rest of the anti 6 area must be blacks.

Now the path from the lower left (the one from 10) says there needs to be one blue, and the same goes with the path from the above 6 (the most left one), so we mark those two as blues.

The upper right path (the upper 11) says 2 blues. We already have those two, so the hex between the two must be black.

Now the second path from above says 2 blues. we only have one blue, and one hex left, so mark that one as blue as well.

Now mark the newly revealed 6 area. It is surounded by 4 blues. The paths from above through the middle shall have 3 blues, and the one next to it, 2 blues. So we need one more through the middle leaving only one more from the path from 4. From the path from 4 that leaves us with one one blue inside the area, and one outside. Mark the one outside as blue.

From now on it gets easy. Look at the 6 path from the left. It have all its 6 blues now, so the last hex must be black.

Same goes with the 8 from right. It has its 8 blues, so mark the last hex as black.

Now the path from left through the middle needs 4 blues, it has 3. Make the last one as blue.

The 9 path from right has its two blues, so mark the last hex as black.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=326184661

The top path from 3 need one blue, so mark the last hex in the path as blue.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=326184690

We now have the two blues through the middle from right, so mark the last hex as black.

Finally we shall have 3 blues through the middle from above. We have 2, so mark the last blue. Now we have only one hex left, and no remaining blues (look at the counter), so it must be black.

Enjoy... :-)

I see you made a lot of solution threads for hexcells levels. It seems like a lot of work to make all the screenshots, put them in order and describe in words what you are doing and how you are reasoning. Have you ever considered making a video out of it? It seems like a more natural thing to do. Not to toot my own horn, but I think it works reasonably well: http://youtu.be/HLKW4-WcPi4?t=8s

Hi Sekti
Yea, super idea indeed, and you're absolutely right, its just that i dont know how to record videos and that the video for especially 6-5 would be a hard one to make, because its so complex to solve. But I might try someday anyways :-)
