I'm also at this same place right now, could someone give me a hint?

Arkles removed some of the column numbers so it's not obvious from the picture, but there are at least three obvious ones you can negate from the fourth mega-hexagon in the middle row.

Was working on this puzzle as well, just stuck much further along (harder than 6-3 and 6-4 IMO). Suggestions?

If you count each of the blue hexes in the diagonals, you will see:

The top 5 needs 1 more
The 8 needs 2 more
The 2 needs 1 more
The bottom 5 needs 2 more

That a total of 6 blues left and there are only 6 remaining, which means the whole bottom row is all black hexes.

Thanks! For some reason, I always forget to look at the number remaining as a clue. :S

The blue hex in the bottom is your next lead, combined with the "6" column on its left and the "{8}" on its right.

EDIT: Actualy, I see it now... and we have one more "nevermind" post! Tha "{8}" column gives only one possibility for the blue hex, so I can reveal the bottom black hex and follow from there. Thank you, Bryan!

Hi, Bryan. Thanks for the reply.

I didn't get how the blue hex in the bottom (the one with 5?) and the "6" column on its left and the "{8}" on its right can help me in this particular moment. Could you elaborate a bit more?

The way I see, the area around the blue "5" is missing two blues. One of them is in one of the 3 hexes in the "6" column to its left. But the other one could be in one of the two hexes at the bottom of the "5" column further left or in one of the two hexes at the bottom of the "{8}" column to the right.

So I have 3 possible hexes for the first missing blue e 4 possible hexes for the second one. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Cheers!

I don't understand, why missing one in the column "5" can't be outside the sector of blue "5"? There's a good place above the central blue point, right above the blue "5" area. In this case, we can't reveal {8} column.

N71 basically if you look at the screenshot that Banchou posted the blue 5 hex is still missing two blue hexes. One is fulfilled by the 6 column to the left but it seems as if the final blue hex could either be in the 5 column further left or in the {8} column. But since all the blue hexes in the {8} column have to be together there could only be one option for the final hex if it was in that colomn. This then allows you to eliminate the other option, that being the bottom hex of the {8}. *Spoiler* This bottom hex turns out to be a zero thus eliminating the other option in the {8} column and meaning that the final blue hex must be in the 5 column. Hope this helps.

Wow... This is the answer, thanks!
