Puzzles seeds
You can post seeds for the levels you've enjoyed solving/playing, or levels you liked, so others can enjoy them too!

Is there a way to track the levels you played other than writing them down? I just played a good level and wanted my wife to play it but when I hit menu after solving it, it looks like it just disappears.

If you dig around in the game's folder there is a file called "output_log" which prints a line with the seed number every time a level is generated. This file gets overwritten every time the game is launched, but you might be able to find it in there.

I'm on Linux and couldn't find an output_log in the games folder under Steam/SteamApps/common/Hexcells Infinite/ It's OK, I'm sure I'll come across more great ones, just would be super sweet to actually maybe save a seeded game that was impressive.

Then again, just thanks for what it is, awesome!

Ah right, the file is in different places on each platform. More info here (http://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/LogFiles.html). I might look into adding a 'copy seed to clipboard' button on the puzzle complete screen.

Anything you implement to remember seeds would be better than what is currently available. It would be nice if clicking on the number of generated puzzles completed actually showed a history. Nicer would be to bookmark a seed for sharing with a friend or for trying again later.

But honestly, any way to remember a seed would be nice :)

The date seed for yesterday and the day before were not as fun as this random seed.

03092014 (yesterday's daily) was actually interesting!

Not to try and change the subject but are there some digits in the seed that change the size of the puzzle area? I really like the small area puzzles compared to the huge ones. Is there maybe just one digit you can change that affects the size of the puzzle?

I had the same thought, and after experimenting, I don't believe so. We are likely just choosing the seed that determines the initial random number, meaning that the seed has absolutely no bearing on the type of puzzle.

It would be nice if we could choose what type of puzzle, or at least the size, when generating a puzzle.
