Allowed one mistake each level for perfectionist?
I read something that makes it look like I'm allowed to make one mistake each level and get the perfectionist acheivement still, but that was for a different Hexcells game. Does it still apply here? I've been restarting every time I make one mistake and it's been eating up a lot of time.

No mistake allowed... otherwise your're not a perfectionist. :steammocking:

anyone else confirm that? The first Hexcells game definitely gives you the perfectionist acheivement with 1 mistake per level.

I really didn't know that.

You can make one mistake per level in this one too.

I don`t know if all the game can be made without mistake like first hexcells and plus. Anybody see a lot of luck in this one? The game 3-6 is a example of luck I think.

Post a screenshot and somebody will show you it has nothing to do with luck. :MMForFun:

that is what I loved about this game, it had no "luck" like minesweeper or suduko; there is always, always a next logical step in the solution -- sometimes you have to let the numbers dance in your head for awhile before you see the pattern, but there is no "Well can't go any further, let me pick a random hex and hope I don't blow up."
as for the 'perfectionist', others have answered already (yes, one mistake still qualifies for perfect), there is a way to tell from the puzzle selection menu: if the puzzle you just finished has a flat paint job, then it did not qualify for perfectionist; if however, it has a 'magical' 3D paint job, then it qualified towards your acheivement of perfection (even with one mistake).

Even though the game credits me if I only make one mistake, I still restart as soon as I do, because there are no mistakes in perfection.
