also I tried putting the game on extreme but it doesn't give me the 144 fps i'm looking for
As FreeSync is an AMD technology, AMD's support forum may be the best platform to request advice, or perhaps AMD has other support options that may be of use.
My understanding is -
- Make sure FreeSync is enabled on the monitor itself, using the buttons
- Enable V-Sync in For Honor
As far as I'm aware, that should be it! Without V-Sync enabled For Honor will continue to attempt to push frames further than what your monitor is capable of keeping up with, and this is perfectly normal.
I hope that helps!

I'll do some revision on Radeon Chill to help players in the future, and I'm happy to see your issue is now resolved!
