DLC not activating in game

I try to purchase the new hero in game but it bugs out and doesn't pull up steam to complete the purchase.

So I tried to purchase it through steam directly and it doesn't pop up in game.

Did you attach the DLC to Ubisoft Connect? After you buy on Steam and start the game, a Ubisoft Connect pop-up appears where it asks you to agree to adding the DLC to your Ubisoft account. I assume that's the issue for you guys. I did that and there were no issues for me.

It doesn't pop up with anything upon starting the game.
