How to exit Uplay overlay?

During the first start, this Uplay client window appeared and I just clicked to continue. Now whenever I start the game, this uplay window does not appear anymore ... but this seems to be required to deactivate the "overlay". How can I get back this uplay client to deactivate overlay? Or is there a shortcut to exit overlay?

Thanks for reaching out!

The Default binding to open / close the Ubisoft Overlay is Shift + F2.

If you wish to disable the overlay you can do so by going into the Ubisoft Connect Settings and unticking 'Enable in-game overlay for supported games'.
