You should ask Uplay support about this. My guess is that you can somehow link a new steam account to an existing Uplay account and then the save data would copy over.

Yes.Worked for me. I got the Marching fire on steam..I had a free version of for honor on steam and on U play. had to remove the steam one to buy marching fire.But the progress I made on U plays version stayed.Just activated the DLC

Hey SixSixSix! You can definitely switch the Steam account that is linked to your Ubisoft Account. I would advise to make sure you unlink your original Steam account first from that old Uplay account. Then make sure when you launch your new Steam account with For Honor that you're signed into your old Uplay account.
