Yes.. No I dunno... =P
1. Disable full screen optimization on ForHonor.exe. You can do this by finding ForHonor.exe in the games main directory. Right click .exe and click properties & select compatibility tab. Check the box that says ''disable full screen optimizations''
2. Try dropping your graphics settings in the game really low. When the stutter/freeze is gone, raise them until you get this issue again and turn things on and off to see which setting seems to work the best.
3. Temporarily disable other programs that are running in the background except programs associated with the game
Let me know if this resolves the random stuttering.

What CPU/GPU are you using?
Please also make sure you have been through the extended steps in the guide here[support.ubi.com]
If you have the Task Manager open when this happens do you notice an increase in any specific usage?

These steps do nothing indeed, I have tried disabling full screen optimization, turning windows 10 game mode off, tweaking forhonor.exe using the nivdia control panel and changing the compatibility mode for windows 8 and 7. I have nothing weird running on my computer appart from Discord and sometimes Google Chrome, nothing works, several people have the exact same problem, FIX your game.
I have 24GB of RAM, a i5 4690k and an RTX 2060 which aren't overclocked btw.
I also have a 1GB/s internet fiber and YET the exact same problem still occurs, I'll also remind you that other people confirm having the same issue.
I'm playing with all settings maxed out, in fullscreen 75hz with vsync motion blur and oversampling all disabled but I don't see why YOUR game settings should cause any problem at all.
For Honor is the only game I ever have this issue with, have you guys considered fixing your game yet?
I have, it was due to a cpu bottleneck, I could help it by "setting affinity" and reducing the number of cpu cores in usage of other consuming tabs (such as discord)
i eventually changed cpu for a ryzen 7, 8 cores and had no problem since
Thank you for sharing your workaround!
