I also did some other steps, I will paste my comment below, which I posted on another thread.
Maybe it will help someone.
The weirdest for me is that, the "old" driver was fine a day before ; but not the following day.
Usually this would happen, if the game's engine would get a severe-core change to it's graphics renderer, or something like that. (think of For Honor 2.0, when it happened, with the new graphics)
But I doubt it was the case again, with the last update.
And No, nothing from Steam was damaged.
Those files are from Microsoft, which Steam stores just in case a certain game might need it.
Almost every game requires a certain software, from those folders, in order to run.
Especially the case, with games before 2020.
