Game needs to be made f2p

Title is TLDR. This game is going to slowly drip players until the game isn’t worth being run financially. Thankfully, Ubisoft’s predatory approach to unlockables will make this an incredibly easy transition. ATP what is keeping for honor running are the players shilling out money for steel/skins, NOT new players buying the game. Going F2P will save this game. sure we might see more scripts being used, but those issues can be addressed with a competent team. I really hope ubi decides to pull the price for the base game, it needs new players, and it needs to be worth it for them to pick up without any additional cost.

What are the chances of this happening? How could we even get enough support from the community to pitch this idea to a French company who won’t listen to us?

f2p won't save it, sadly. Most new players will leave after 1 week. Only the cheaters will remain.
