Also i think he has a 16 dmg heavy finisher which is a joke and some moves are awkward to get into and are predictable
gotta agree with you there. i bought him as a preorder because i had some leftover steam funds because he seemed interesting but actually playing him makes me wanna leave the game and just play someone else its such a pain playing that guy
not even that tbh. i cant do ♥♥♥♥ in a 1v2 situation ever. my attacks deal 0 dmg and even if i get a bash i spend most of my time building up a one shot to kill one of my targets
but he did feel really restricted on his moves, specially when the dev stream said ''oh he'll be really usefull in ganks'' when in reality if you get in a gank, uoi dont have much to work with, and if YOU get ganked, you dont have a lot to get out of it, due to his moves not being too strong and slow enough for even a noob to parry you
You have to use your chain zones hitstun to safely enter his unblockables else you can be interrupted or traded with. So you must treat the zone as a pseudo unblockble its self.
His stamina is not super either. So you'll likely have to pause after your first successful chain to regen and be forced on the defensive.
His damage is extremely low.
So optimally you'll zone from a gb. If you're doing things right, building souls is NOT your main objective. By the time you've killed them you should have all souls ready for the next fight. So that'll be fun? Right? Not really.
His heavy ranges are terrible so good luck trying to get meaningful external damage in for team fights. Trying to get the bash off in a team fight can be rough as usually you'll be in the center blocking, parrying, and trying to trade with that zone. You're a heavy with poor range, remember?
His damage needs to be buffed.
His seven force strike needs to be nerfed.
And his side hitboxes need to be adjusted. Most of them are too small.
I agree.
Conqueror's original rework was nice. Get rid of the bad zone, but he gets chain options. People whined and he sucks now.
Shugoki was only problematic when he had passive superarmor and could GB you off of any non-double light. Once he got his soft-feint hug rework, he was a normal Hero. It was also around that time Valkyrie was gutted.
Jorm wasn't even that bad, people just didn't know how to manage stamina very well.
Damage is super abyssmally low for how slow some of these attacks come out. Inability to do the super damage on anything other than a dash forward bash is really bad since its easily the most telegraphed thing in the game, its his only way to access the damage, so once he has all souls you can literally just dash out of every dodge forward because if you get GB'd, who cares you just take like a 20 damage zone and its all good.
Should be able to soft feint heavy finishers to GB, should be able to do the 7 Soul Strike on a GB or a bash (Or at least something, he needs SOMETHING other than dash forward bash)
Other than that dude kinda feels like a joke in 4s, interrupted by everything, die before doing anything meaningful, hes a fun meme but thats pretty much where the fun stops. Have to get feat level 3 and get all souls to feel almost like a normal hero. HIs pressure is just absurdly bad, and his 1vX is basically nonexistent.
Cool concept, but the execution is really poor IMHO
