So that's why rapiers wouldn't be out of place.
We have a Samurai with a big axe, a Knight with a sword who uses his shoulder more, a Knight with a kite shield who can slit your throat with it, a Viking who uses his dane axe's pummel more than its head.
The Knight's live on open lava, Samurai who wear wood armor live in a murky humid swamp and the Viking's(Raider) who canonically wear no shirts but just one fur sloshed over his shoulder live in snow.
But a Rapier? No no. lol, just busting your balls.
I too think a Rapier would be nice, i'd prefer if they went a fantasy route and added stuff based upon the religious backrounds of each faction. Pale Horse(Scythe), Odin(Spear) etc.
Fencers also dont really have any kind of bashes at their disposal because the historical lack of armor made fencing very much sword front and center. While heavily armored people would still use their swords as the main focal point, they had more leeway when trying to tackle or kick their opponents.
Not to mention Tiandi is pretty similar to a saber fencer rn (at least weapon wise)
I would love to see one but I feel like there would be a lot of problems implementing it.
