how to play against lvl 3 bots when matchmaking is off?
I'm eternally stucked with lvl 2 bots and I'm so tired of fighting them since there is just no fun at all. I have played lots of pvp before but I switch to P v BOT only for about a month in the beginning of each new season to avoid the new characters for now and to grind for xp and steel through orders.

I fight lvl3 all the time in custom match and I have no trouble against them, and they provide a much more enjoyable experience. But since I want to farm for xp and steel, I need to play online and I only ever see lvl 2 bots.

I think the current system matching bots with players is messed up as I see plenty of people complaining that they are being matched with lvl 3 bots when they are not good and are getting their asses kicked. Yet for me who desperately want lvl 3 bots, I only get lvl 2 ones.

Please Ubisoft look into this and balance it more.

As far as I know, PvAI matches you against bots depending on your PvP ranking. If you have a bad winrate in PvP, then you'll get lower level bots against AI.

People complain because they lowered the threshold that triggers level 3 bots to appear, and a lot of players have trouble fighting them.

I literally never see anything else than lvl 3 bots when I'm playing against AI (to do orders mostly). You might want to check your PvP winrates.

thanks. But I have no idea how I can check pvp stats only. My general stats are pretty decent (K/D3.5, winrate 78%) but it includes lots of PvAI matches.

Level 3 bots are in general cheaters. They dont fall for feints/mindgames and their reactions are 1:1.

They can still be beaten because unlike players they throw randomly unsafe attacks, I'd just parry them and punish.

No player plays like this. Some of the best players in the game have reaction times as good as 150ms or lower. Level 3 bots literally have 0ms reaction times. They still do stupid stuff but their reactions are on point.

oh did they improve the lvl 3 bots? I used to fight them a lot in custom matches and they still couldn't compare against real players. I certainly don't remember them being so good before.

Thanks. Yeah I've got a long way to go lol with my 1.1 k/d and 57% winrate...Don't think I can improve too much since I'm just not that good in these competitive fighting games. Oh well, if the lvl 3 bots are significantly stronger than before, maybe it's for the best. But too bad the lvl 2 bots still suck and are boring to play against.

They aren't good they're just inhuman.

They can reaction parry PK's zone with high consistency. (I can reaction parry her zone if I'm looking for it but only with about 50% consistency)

No real human player can do this. Like I said they also do stupid stuff though so just punish their mistakes and steamroll them.

Definitely don't expect a real player to be reaction parrying everything you throw while at the same time falling for zero feints/mindgames though.

Other way around for me, I think people are too easy and that the lvl 3 bots are way more interesting to fight. (Excluding spam/exploits and turtleborn players.)
Was kinda bummed when they "nerfed" PvE since I was enjoying the Dominion PvE like crazy with ALL lvl 3 bots.

i hate to say it, but go full on defense mode, and gank the lvl 3 bots. if you are getting ganked, then good luck, have fun, and dont get too mad
