Nobushi Nerf
First off I'd like to say that I'm a rep 60 Nobushi main and play both Duel and Dominion, so I'd like to think that I know a bit about the character. Secondly I'll be mainly talking about the nerfs as i think the buffs are okay(if not a tad underwhelming). I do think that Nobu has recieved a rather large nerf, that I think will end up crippling the hero.

Good Nerfs

Hidden Stance GB Vulnrability: This was a very necessary nerf that was definitely unhealthy for the game as Nobu could negate pretty much most mixups. I know I abused the hell out of it.

Sidewinders: Yes I'm aware that Nobushi is S tier in Dominion. People would spam Sidewinders in Dominion while locked on to faraway targets and be able to deal out pretty nasty damage to closer targets. These attacks were unparriable so they were very safe. with the nerf :Dodge now branches to Sidewinder from 200ms to 400ms (from 100ms to 300ms). As to whether this nerf will change much, we will have to see once the patch is live. My personal opinion is that it wont change all that much as Nobu will still be able to do Sidewinders while locked on to far away targets, but she cant spam so them so I suppose its an alright nerf.

Bad Nerfs

Damage Nerf: Yes Nobus damage was a bit over the top. if you landed a top heavy on a bleeding target you'd score a whopping 48 damage. But first you'd have to land a bleed attack which would require you to do a dodging light(Parry bait) or try dodge something with hidden stance and get your light finisher off. Or most consistent though was to land a parry and then vipers retreat. Then try and get a gb to land a top heavy.
Now im not complaing about the heavy damage nerfs as those heavies currently are a bit extreme. I have an issue with her light attack nerfs. Currently off of a heavy parry she gets a 20 dmg bleed punish. Off of a light parry she gets 38 dmg which isnt all that crazy.
Once this patch goes live she'll only be able to get a 20 dmg punish off of a zone (stamina permitting). Otherwise she has to settle with 15 dmg which is an extremely low parry punish.
In Dominion it becomes a problem too because if an oponent has the anti bleed feat active, Nobushi's light finishers only do 2 damage.
Ontop of all this you'll be able to take less advantage of her passive "Way Of The Shark" , as the bleed damage is far less.
All in all I think the nerf was a bit too severe.

Blocked heavy From Hidden Stance does NOT guarantee a kick: This is a huge nerf as it was Nobus only opener(if you could call it that, as it was pretty reactable). Even if she had kept the abilty to get a guaranteed kick on blocked hs heavy after the patch, she'd only be able to get off a 12 dmg punish!

In closing I'd like to just say that i think Nobushi is being gutted a bit too much. The only thing that made her slightly viable in 1v1 was her hs being so safe. I just think that the amount of nerfs outway her buffs. Obviously we'll have to see once the patch is live to truly see how she turns out, but these are my worries.

i belive she'll be a more simple heroe now, less complex and definitively less interseting to play ( with or against )
In spite of what you said, i'd add that the fact they took away her ability to feint lights is sad. She'll be playing in a more direct play style (light -kick - light kinda style ) and the gameplay will loose its finesse.
Those who say she has to be nerfed probably don't play against her enough to know her. But if the nerf has to be done, i believe a nerf in damage stats would be more pertinent than a big cut in her tool kit. She has much less moves now than last season.

if you have 60 reps with nobu you should know her '' opener '' sucked. but yeah the fact it got removed is dumb

anyways, she needed a hidden stance nerf and now all she needs is proper offense really.

She still needs nerfs, tho. If you have rep 60 with nobushi, you should know she is super strong at 4v4, and not as much, albeit still very strong in 2v2

You're right there. I just dont want to complain too much before the patch is live. To be fully honest I'm really sad at how much of her identity as a hero is being removed. I just wanted to outline some of the major issues I have. But yes I'm definitely going to miss her light feints (even if they werent too effective)

You know nobushi isn’t the first who lost the ability to feint light attacks.

It wasn't really an opener but it gave slight OOS pressure(not much)

I agree she definitely needed the hs nerfs no doubt about it. And I still think she's still going to be very strong in 4v4 and 2v2.

I just think she has to resort even more to turtling in 1v1 scenarios.
