Okay, so the reason campaign shouldn't be up to date and a better teaching tool is because we have hero tactics?
No, there are several reasons not to update story mode, biggest being it would require the restructuring of half of it as well as all of the tooltips to compensate for the new stats. Also, if they update it now that means they need to update it every time any of the year 1 heroes gets changed.
Considering I like it as it is and how much work they'd have to put in for no benefit I think it's wise to leave it alone. Let us not destroy history.
Also:
-Budget
-Development time
A campaign is a journey, and is for the STORY. Hero tactics are for TACTICS and LEARNING.
