I mean if a character can just win by spamming bashes then the person on the receiving end is maybe to blame.
His forward bash and combo bash being GB open is kinda stupid. (Even trough for the bash it only counts for light attack hit stun)
But the Kyoshin is supposed to be weak. He's a defender, literally. I mean yea, you could argue about the stamina loss on some moves, but Bruh. This character is not supposed to bash out damage like Warmonger oder Jorgen. He's supposed to be a defensive character with focus on counter potential. He's literally a Conq with Aramushas counter, minus the timing you need for the stance. There are plenty Kyoshins already that can easily whack other players asses just by focusing on their defensive. Why do you think is it stated in his playstyle?
Also bashes that give a light should never really be open to GBs butchers the risk and reward.
His counter ain’t even that great besides that the light attack one lacks any GB frames so you can react to GBs.
