Honestly?
I really like Kyoshin. Most Samurai feel cheesy to use to me, but I actually like what the Devs did with Kyoshin.
At first I was worried about his feats being broken -- Looking back at Gryphon and Warmonger can you really blame me? But I feel they're actually okay. I was petrified his T4 was going to be absolutely BUSTED but it's not that difficult to dodge if you manage to spot it.

His moveset and kit while excessive compared to most other heroes is actually not that strong in terms of damage. He has a ton of mixup and combo potential while not being too over the top in damage or hit spam.

Playing against him was really fun too because there's just so much that can be thrown at you it keeps you on your toes.

Playing as him is also pretty fun, he's a fantastic 1v1 hero but I struggle a little bit in 1vX because I'm still learning him. Though, he's absolutely garbage midlane.

How do you guys feel about Kyoshin? My personal verdict is that he's surprisingly balanced compared to the last two heroes released and requires a good bit of thinking to use rather than playing the game on easy mode with Gryphon

also i've been seeing a lot of cope and seethe from people who spent money expecting Kyoshin to be the new god hero and are fuming that he requires more than two braincells lmao get stuffed nerds

in my opinion he is a very mobile black prior/orochi mixed in with a few punishing moves for people that light spam or dodge spam. However for the high praise i give him in every match i play i kinda find his kaze stance a bit overrated (Sorry in advance). Most people I fight with kyoshin and even my friends say "his kaze stance is broken" but in reality it isnt, sure you can crushing counter EVERY normal attack that comes your way but its main weakness is the free guardbreak and super easy punish with unblockables. Setting all of it a side I'm mostly glad how they made kyoshin play besides his starter kick. The second attack bash I'm fine with because its a balanced version of gryphons kick, but I find the kick to be a BIT excessive imo.

Besides all of that I LOVEEE kyoshin!

what people do is haze unblockable heavy or haze light attack, how you counter it is anyone with a bash attack or unblockable and even guardbreaking them. All you have to do is predict when they are gonna do it so you don't get superior block punished.

I never play conq and I dont play gruphon much as well. You can say whatever you want like "pk does little damage" and such but numbers say otherwise so its irrevelent what you say.

I checked it again and his damage is fine, but he doesn't have that many feints and could be tricky in PvP. His stance is broken. You can't be quick enough in his stance when the enemy attacks, but the only thing he can hold is normal attacks and nobody makes just heavy attacks and lights are unstanceable because they are to fast for his stance.
