100ms "predict" your enemies next light.
I feel every aspect of the new patch is Great. i like it, but the new... prediction of the next attack is too much. all it did was make light spammers that much more present, and i played a good 2 hours into the new patch and have not seen one person Cancel an attack as they can just spam lights. this new addition was not needed.... Put it back... then maybe ill reinstall, that alone made me uninstall the game.

Only parrying turned in to more of a read.

Blocking is still possible in reaction.

Pretty much the same as before applies: If you get spammed that’s your fault.

I don’t really get why people are so stubborn to sit down and improve a bit.

They won’t take it back because it’s as simple as mentioned above, people need to get used to the changes instead of crying after a few hours.

If it's too fast for you, you can try and dodge out of the chain.

Idk why people aren't talking about it, you cannot dodge from a light that is in a chain at all nor block, nor even parry since you are stuck in that animation from getting hit such as cent light spam, any assassin light spam and nobushi light spam.

I wish that is the case but that is definitely not the case for everyone, the parries are now rng since many classes animation are confusing and not even consistent such as nobushi light. You cannot see the first light until one sec after but second light is impossible since you don't see it until you get hit THEN you see the red indicator. The ccu is only for core but doesn't fix the main issue with safe lights, missing indicators, ghost indicators, and stuck in vortex but not in unblockable moves, rather light spam now. Ccu just only brings the issues/bugs/exploits in the game to its full brim than ever before. They should just let the game what it was and let it die period. They cannot balanced it if they keep focusing only on competitive gameplay which hurts the majority of the community that play the game casually. They should just make it fun and leave it at that and perhaps make For Honor 2 where they have more info and data to make it better since they have it or in reality, they are just milking the ♥♥♥♥ outta of For Honor rn.

Its not the same case for everyone, it can due to internet connection, server connection, animation bugs and missing indicators that make it unable to be stopped. I face a cent that was able to spam light in one direction and I couldn't do anything since I can't block, nor parry, nor even dodge since my hero was stuck in "got hit" animation so only way for me to break out of it was have a teammate to hit them and I was able to be back in control. Its absurd but does it happen everytime, no but rn, it is happen very often to players that are intended to abuse the ♥♥♥♥ outta of it.

Lights are almost as unsafe as dodging by a ledge...

I wish you were telling the truth but test it yourself, its not muscle memory anymore, its more than that now ever since the CCU. If they fix the ♥♥♥♥ that they forgot about it then the CCU would be less errors but instead, it just bring the issues that they ignore to full brim. I play this game since beta, the issue was always there but instead of at least trying to fix it, they just put other system in place to fix it which instead make it worse and confusing. I love this game but jesus, its better for them to stop beating a dead cow by now similar idea with skyrim but not in making of games but extending the game. The best way for them to fix this is not to fix it but rather make two mode out of it by having one mode with CCU and other without. Then you will see how CCU is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ compare to without ccu. Plus, the ccu that was tested in testing grounds was nowhere near the ccu that they put in live...which makes no damn sense at all. I think the testing grounds CCU was good since it was only specific part to be tested but not like the live version which has so much update, so much changes, bugs and exploit that just came out full brim when CCU was added. I rather play the testing grounds with the CCU compare to live version since the testing grounds with CCU was what the live version SUPPOSE to be but failed since they cannot achieve that if they already have issues they ignore from years. That's why they should make For Honor 2 since they have the data since they cannot fix or change anything in For Honor without any backlash, new bugs and new exploits. It's endless chain that can never be stopped due to many years of changes so better to start what they have fresh similar idea to a ball that been cut up but has the holes patched but later came back by going flat again compare to getting a new ball that don't have the issues in the first place. I hope the ball analogy make sense lol.

Just quit, it's what this is all about.
"Parry lights or quit" so quit, all the game has left is the PvP anyway and we know how "good" that is.

Maybe if the chuckleheads coming up with these PvE game modes had them be permanent for variations sake than just events, guess I'll only play when there's an event because eff this "parry lights and read the future".

blocking isnt hard you just have to get used to them also paying attention to animations now

my reactions suck but i can block 2/4 of all lights and parry most of them since people really like to do certain lights from the same direction for some reason
