Teach me how to defend against feint.
My first caracter in this game was a lawbringer, so i can now parry almost anything on muscle memory, but since season 2 lots of ppl started abusing feint mechanic, making my defensive playstyle useless. Even i dont parry and just block, i still fall fot a gb that comes too fast for me to move to X button. If the unblockable comes, i dont have any choice but to parry it, and if enemy ser this, he cancels it and gets a free hit on me. Also have to mention that i play slow classes: LB cent and highlander so dodging is not an option. It looks like the whole game is too fast for me to react to this, so i could realy use an advice of some expirienced players. Thanks.

How to defend against feints: Don't parry everything.

How to defend against GBs: That's just getting used to it. Provided you don't try to parry the attack, the GB is counterable. You just have to get used to reacting to it.

Everyone can dodge unblockable weapon attacks, because of i-frames. I've dodged Raider's zone attack with, approximately, every character in the game. Additionally, some unblockable weapon attacks (like Shugoki's and Centurion's charged unblockables) have points beyond which they can no longer be feinted that occur much earlier than the parry point—if you're fighting one of those, it's just a matter of getting used to recognizing when it's "safe" to parry them.

So the heavy attack has a limit beyong which it cant be feinted. Or only some particular moves?

Every atack that can be feinted has a point where it cant be canceled anymore and please dont call it "abusing the feint mechanic" since its legit and some chars are build on that.

if you play against Zerker who feint a lot will be better to not parry him
if players are giving you cancer playstyle give them ore cancer by keep a distance and attack only when it's safe
also train against bots level 3 this will help you a lot , also feel free to ask about any thing or any help inside the game

Keep in mind, Lawbringer gets a free Push when you block an attack, sometimes it's better to let the attack go through, block it, than go into the shove which gives a fast side light that will either hit, or be blocked at the last second if the timing was off since it comes out too quickly to be parried.

Well, you can try faint the faint
You need try to parry his attack and when u see he faints the attack u faint yours.
and then it starts to be a mind game :D

Learn to react to lights and ignore heavies. The timing is tight when you're learning the game but it can be done fairly consistently on good connections (won't happen every time though; occasionally you'll connect with someone very far away from you whose attacks come out very fast).

Outside of that, ignore all parry options and only use the block-shove mixup. It's not a great mixup and can be negated (and punished) on reaction by most characters, but it works against bad players pretty well.

Otherwise, pick another character if you plan on playing Duel/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Brawls; Lawbringer's true home is in 4v4 (Dominion specifically) due to his incredible support feats and peeling potential.

1. Don't parry
2. If you play a reflex guard hero (which it doesn't seem like you do), try not to switch guards to refresh your current guard. Not really sure how to do it with a controller, but with a mouse you may have to learn to stretch.
3. Dodge (can be risky, free GB if they feint, is possible on even slower heroes)
4. Roll away (some attacks will follow and hit your roll)
5. Use lights to interrupt. If they are feinting a lot, sometimes just poking them with a single light will confuse them, sometimes they may be good enough to parry it.
6. GB
7. If you are playing dominion, call a friend over to help you. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ain't feinting much 2v1.

Personally I think feints are too common. I think they should be less common, but more critical to turning a match.

Thank u all for your tips. it seems easier to fight strong players that use mix attacks than a raider who only feints heavy into stun light or a new guy with shaman who uses unblockable to gb combo.

If you are out of stamina, dodge backwards.Else, try to make it so you parry the move after the feint window passes.Dodging is always an option, but it leaves you vulverable to a possible guardbreak feint.
