Shamans? Blergh
Shaman and Gladiator are both very good. I find Gladiator to be a fun hero to play, personally, even though he has dumpster-tier fashion. Shaman is much more stylish, and can still be fun if you like her playstyle.
Highlander is quite good now, even if he isn't top tier. But his playstyle is very different from Shaman/Gladiator.
Centurion and Aramusha is pretty "meh" currently. Centurion is fine if you like to focus on punishing, but he's lost a lot of oomph. Aramusha is mostly considered to be one of the worst heroes in the game (rip), although personally I still find him fun (just not very good).
Opinions on Shinobi are all over the place, but I think it's safe to say that his "playstyle" is about baiting and punishing, so if that isn't your thing then Shinobi won't be for you.
That aside, the only hero dlc hero I could call garbage right now is aramusha,so if you don't like the ones I mentioned, you can go for centurion and shinobi as well-shinobi is less viable than centurion, although not the worst pick either, again only imo.
