Question about the Blackstone Elite and Iron Legion colour.
So Blackstone Elite is usable as Neutral and Attacker.
Why is Iron Legion only Neutral then? Would be much cooler for a defender colour.

Or is it unintented to be neutral only?

Defenders aren’t allowed to have nice colors

I noticed that. Only when you reach Rep+15 you get semi nice colours

You already get the best color at level 18.

I assume it's because the Iron Legion palette prominently features both green (a Defender Color) and yellow (an Attacker Color), so allowing it to be used in team modes would have the theoretical potential of creating confusion about what team someone is on based on their appearance.

Or something, I dunno.

In 800 Hours of my For Honor experience, I never checked the colour of an enemy to see if he is friendly or not. ;D Because the big ass orange healthbars arent enough!

We could always ditch the stupid colours anyway since allies and enemies have icons above them to indicate their team.

That and allies can't be locked onto. I hate the Defender colours, and want to be able to use more neutral colours for Dominion / Tribute.

There's been like a gorillion posts demanding and justifying the removal of color restrictions in team modes, but Ubi's last public response to that (ages ago) was among the lines of "Team colors prevent confusion in the heat of battle so they stay, end of story"

However I feel like there's a ton of different things that are far more reliable than armor colors when it comes to team identification, for example this picture which quite well elaborates why the team color philosophy is pretty redundant overall[i.redd.it]

That picture is spot-on accurate.
