GPU Driver Crash
I have been suffering crashes during the start of a round in any game mode on the PC version of the game.

The error message says: And error ocurred! The GPU driver crashed. If the problem persists, please try to disable any overlay software, disable overclocking and update your GPU driver.

My PC is not overclocked and the only overlay software would be the uplay overlay, and I disabled it and same error.

My PC specs:

PSU: Sentey Metal Blade 850W
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 8gb ddr4 x 2
CPU: i7 7700
GPU: RX480 8gb
Motherboard: Gigabyte h270 Gaming 3

Things I already tried: Updating GPU drivers, Reinstalling the whole game and Contacting Ubisoft Support

I don't have this problem with other videogames, and I hate the fact that I can't rejoin a match if it crashes.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

What did the support say about it?
That I should update GPU drivers and Windows. Close antivirus, close any software with an overlay. Also delete all temp files among other things.

Haven't found a solution yet.
I already did that too, no change at all. Last thing support said was reinstalling uplay launcher and no luck either.

Having the same problem. No help.

I managed to get in a game once, I joined mid-game so I skipped some sort of loading that occurs at the start of every game which causes my crashes

the problem started when for you?
I have the impression that mine is linked to the windows update (from may ?)
Never found a solution to this problem. Sadly ubisoft support is completely useless.
I still keep playing, but it does crash from time to time.

No other game that I have installed causes the gpu driver to crash, so it's a problem between the AMD drivers and For Honor probably. Wish they would it fix it some day.

I have read that some people suggest underclocking your GPU, it does make the game more stable for some people, maybe try it if you wish, but it's a shame you have to do this to make For Honor work.

Unfortunately I have already tried but it does not work either but thank you for the suggestion.
And hey dude, it's not about AMD, I have GTX970...

Sorry that I can't help, mine does start but it crashes randomly during matches.

Hope they fix it some day.
