EAC launcher could not be started...
Hello,

I'm currently looking for way to fix an EAC error...
When launching this nice error comes "EAC launcher could not be started".

What i currently have tried
Verifying files 5 times.
Uninstall/Install 2 times.
Checked regedit.
Installed/uninstall "Easy Antie Cheat" few times from For Honor, so easy...
Disabled my antimalware.
Checked windows updates.

Do anyone have some nice ideas?

It's your firewall blocking EAC, or try turning off your firewall / UAC

also try go into your game directory: Ubisoft\ForHonor\EasyAntiCheat and run EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe - pick For Honor from the list and uninstall and install it again, then try launching the game again. Making EAC.exe and Forhonor.exe running in administrator mode is also a good idea.

your Uplay could also be outdated

Thanks for the answer, sadly those things didn't work.

It's not my firewall, Tried it. Also reinstalled EAC as admin after disabling it.
My Uplay version is from june 11, seems to latest?
For Honor and EAC as admin didn't work work either.

On a side not found a bug in EAC. If you as Admin Admin you'll get an "error : CopyFile failed with 32". Don't think it have something to do with this as you can simply install as Admin.

try disabling background programs end all processes that were unrelated to for honor. if all fails try contact Ubisoft.

Thanks for your time. no good sadly.

Seems like it's time to bug ubisoft a bit.

If anyone have some other ideas I'll try them since ubisoft support will take a few days :'(
