Suddenly getting major stutter
i played this game for a long time with zero problem. But since last week i've been getting major stutter even though the fps counter still displays 70-80 fps. And i also noticed that each time i quit the game, both steam and uplay say the for honor is still running, and my pc becomes frozen as i cant bring up the task manager or even shut down.

Im sure these 2 problems are conneceted since they appeared together at the same time and i never encountered them before. I will verify the game and maybe reinstall it, but just in case someone has encountered the same thing before, please let me know.

Thanks

I had random stutters during dominion games, to fix it (idk if helped, four days no lag tho)
1)Open FH
2)Open Task Manager
3)Go to Details tab
4) Right clikc forhonor.exe
5)Click select priority and set priority to low or normal
6)Click set affinity and uncheck one of your CPUs

Also the stutter might be caused by lag, still not sure

Your fps display can read "okay" and you could still be getting terrible minimum fps. I know that happens to me and only with this game for some reason. It's similar to a memory leak, where it slowly builds over time and eventually it gets bad enough where I have to completely restart my PC. I am really not at all sure what causes it or how to resolve it without restarting my PC (might look into the above next time it happens), because the numbers (Memory, CPU, etc.) don't seem to be out of the ordinary like you would see in an actual memory leak issue.

EX:
Using the in-game benchmark eventually the minimum FPS would drop terribly low, like 15-30 range. Restarting my PC and running it I will get the minimum FPS around 60-80.

Can you please submit a support ticket {LINK REMOVED} and attach your {LINK REMOVED} and {LINK REMOVED} files for investigation?

Thanks for the tips guys. The problem didn't appear last time I played when I launched the game from Steam instead directly from UPLAY. Both the stutter and the still-running-after-quitting issue disappeared.
I also disabled my Bitdefender AV. So I don't know which of the two was the actual solution.
