How do you counter someone who parries light and heavy attacks?
Feints are pretty useless when they can feint out of there parry attempt and nothing else seems to work, I just got parried and then they had a free heavy because of it. I really do not like the parry mechanic..

Depends on the hero.

What hero are you playing?

Which char you played and who was you opponent? Counter mechanics based on characters, its difficult to say "how to counter" without any information.

And see, this very thing is why I say Cent is still OP. He can do so much damage from a Parry, which punishes the hell out of you for daring to attack. And you do see those that don't fall for feints, can parry lights, can parry heavies, can cgb. In these cases, all attacking does is get you killed. It's super annoying

Mixups. Gotta make yourself unpredictable so they won't know when you're going to commit to an attack or not.

If they keep feinting all their parry attempts then eventually you'll need to figure a way to punish them. If you're a character that can't punish their character for feinting I'm afraid there's nothing you can do.

Or you playing hero with two cc moves that are easy to dodge and gives the enemy a gb after dodge (Valk) She rly needs to get that removed so the enemy can only land a light attack.

If you have a hero with some sort of "opener", e.g. some bash or kick move, try to use them to force your opponent to react

If you don't or the method above doesn't work either, congratulations, you've managed to experience "high level" PvP where your only solution is to just give up and cry

I was beserker they was warlord, I may have not done a great job mixing it up but they was parrying everything even when i feint spammed they feinted out of every parry attempt succesfully. I am kinda newish to the game (like 70hours but I didn't enjoy it to much so did campaign then left it only just returning) so may I ask is M&K better or controller? I find myself trying to block faster characters and being to slow so i figured a mouse would be a bit faster for me..

This, personally, is why I will never be top tier. I cannot just sit there and stare all day at my opponent. I can't do it. I run out of patience.

I personally prefer controller and you can edit your dead zones now too.

Well, beserker has no way to open a warlord turtle box, especially if he use macro. About controls, I think controller can be more useful, cause dead zone
Moist Potato Oct 24, 2017 @ 12:11pm
Yes i've played with the deadzones with the mouse option to have it more preferable and I've only used controller so far and feel like if you can get used to it mouse and keyboard will be easier (i can counter gb and attacks but if they do the really quick unblockables I don't dodge quick enough, I'm aware grinding the game will probably fix that but I doubt i'm going to stick with this :/)
Moist Potato Oct 24, 2017 @ 12:13pm
Wait, is a deadzone useful? I don't like them really..
Also Is there a way to have feint bound to the same as heavy attack? I tried and it just did both at the same time which confuses me as you would think being able to feint only once a heavy attack has started it wouldn't conflict?
BigJ Oct 24, 2017 @ 12:32pm
Feint into gb if you have decent feint speed and feint into light if you don't.
