Centurions max oos punish without a wall?
I learned something quite interesting when I was playing with Centurion. Most people do Eagles Talons as oos punishment, but I think this trick I learned does way more damage.

First you need to get a GB on your opponent throw them behind you and do a kick that you chain into a charged heavy.

If timed right you get a pinn on your opponent when they are standing up before they can react to it, witch is followed by a charged jab and eagles talons.

Combo when performed correctly looks something like this: http://plays.tv/video/59499d90cf6f0a8a5a/centurion-max-out-of-stamina-punish-?from=user

Edit: added without the wall part. Also corrected the title to avoid misunderstandings.

It doesn't seem guarenteed to me
For a pin to work an opponent can not be unbalanced if you do a pin on an unbalanced opponent nothing should happen and he they are in a re stance it should be reactable

If you watch closely Raider gets super armor from standing up just when the pinn hits. If he would be on the floor the pinn wouldn't work, but as you can see pinn hits giving me a fully charged jab.

It might be hard to pull off since it has to be timed right but It is guaranteed if the timing is right.
Bah, this is why I need to break my habit of writing walls of text XD some things that people write about (such as csx39's comment) have their answers/counter-arguments/whatever in what I write, but I often write too much XD Could also just be that sometimes posts get made without reading the previous comments though...

The TL;DR of what I wrote is this: hyper-armor glow during any part of a knockdown/standing-up animation=100% guaranteed hit, which happened in the video. I'm also pretty sure parryable unblockable attacks have a very tiny extra amount of time to land after the hyper-armor part of the animation ends (e.g. Raider's forward throw into unblockable is one that always hits).

P.S. Damn, LuNi beat me to part of the counter-argument right as I was about to click post!
Anyhow raider zerkers out of stam punishes are better and it is equal to wardens the only thing that makes this good is that you dont need a wall

I fixed an error in the title. I didn't mean overall best oos punish, but his best. Hope this makes it easier to understand.

Ironically this isn't any different from his punish on any wall throw or light parry.

However, as was pointed out above, I think the "real" maximum OOS punish for Centurion would be the throw > kick > unblockable heavy > pin > charged jab > knockdown > unlocked run-up-and-zone, which should throw down 80 damage (compared to 65 for the Eagle's Talons route).

Edit: Depending on positioning and spacing, you might be able to get even more: Up to 105 damage. But that would be very situational and probably shouldn't count.

Delusional? It's a 65-damage OOS punish. It's in the high end of the character roster for OOS punishes, but not outstanding or anything like that. I don't know what Warden's max OOS punish so, I don't know where the 65 damage that csx39YT was referring to for that came from, but even so.

It's also not any better than Centurion's wall-throw punish, which he already gets off most GBs. Let's be honest, if you're a Centurion, you're probably trying to fight near a wall as much as possible. So it doesn't even really matter if your opponent is OOS or not, if you get a GB, here comes 65 (or 80) damage. If you want to whine about something, whine about his GB / light parry punish (which I still don't have a problem with but whatever, not the point) that he can do any time, not his same-damage OOS punish that everyone should be able to come close to in the first place.

Personally, I think all characters should have major OOS punishes. I think 50+ should be a minimum for OOS punish abilities, and I want more stamina-draining offensive opportunities so that people have an incentive to actually wear down their opponent's defense and then capitalize rather than just sit around and gaze longingly into each other's eyes for five minutes.

The zone attack thing instead is good to know, but unless you want to get parried on the third swing, you probably shouldn't use it in 1v1s unless that extra bit of damage will finish someone off. At least in a 1v2+ you can try to switch targets for the third swing if they haven't already interrupted you.

If you didn't know with warden you throw an out of stam enemy into a wall and do a side heavy into top heavy
