Warlord is also good at plundering stamina after a single parry since he has something similar to jorm's parry riposte if you click mmb mid parry which drains even more stamina.
headbutt and crashing charge are your options for when somebody is OOS 1v1
full block stance is for baiting out a gb or something similar then responding with an undodgeable heavy attack. Mostly useless.
His lights don't bounce off if they're blocked either leading to more chain pressure if you do land them. So something like countering a gb from someone after you don't throw anything then using that distance to start up a heavy and feinting it into a headbutt. Next time around feint it into nothing. Then feint it into a light before going into another headbutt or heavy mixup. Keep them guessing. If anything warlord is oppressive to fight 1v1.
if you land crashing charge while they are OOS and manage to throw them on the ground do a dashing top heavy into headbutt.
Take fury + fire flask for an easy area clear if you use them in conjunction.
Try putting your guard top before doing a Headbutt, this hides some of the orange glow on Warlord's head for a few frames. In addition, empty dodging into GB is a valid mixup since your forward dodge recovery is shorter than most.
You have 4 parry options so abuse them. They are crushing counter, zone option select, full block and regular parry.
Also whiff lights randomly every few seconds to see if you can guess when they'll try to attack. If done correctly go directly into a combo top heavy for instant hyper armor trades.
Against assassins that aren't Shin and Berserker always follow up any attack that got deflected with a side heavy for the best trades.
really? it always gets blocked if not parried
Is this topic about 1v1 or 4v4 ?
Look someone far away to zone the one closer is a good way to zone.
1v1 but gank tips are also appreciated
full guard can be used for things such as?
It helps to counter blockable attack feints into other blockable attacks like Storming tap feint, Pk and Shaman's bleed feints, Ara's deadly feints, etc.
