Is Wu Lin faction a failure?

Compared to other heroes, they have no depth in their kit. For some reason i feel like all they do is cheap, not telegraphed, very quick lights, or just ♥♥♥♥♥ up mechanics ( like those stances that you can dodge pretty much everyhting ). Others have a windup that can be read, wu lin faction have almost no windup in their attacks, or animation is very confusing. Discuss.

It's just Ubi's coming to terms that people will never play without guard UI again, and the new heroes need everything they need to get their hits through because none of them has a real opener.

Yeah, i hate the Wu Lin as well.

All 4 of them just have a really annoying gimmick that isn't fun to play against.

You can't do anything against Shaolin's Qi stance. Attack it and you'll be a risk forcing you to feint but they can feint there reaction most of the time. Combine that with his 400 ms chain starter top light and up to 2 guaranteed lights after it. Giving him a total of 24 damage everytime a light connects. Just not fun

Jiang has quick stamina regen and no recovery time after heavies to go directly into lights and his stupid back step thing making him a pest. Oh and he can do that back step all the time even out of stamina

Tiandi i really haven't fought that much but quick side steps a bash that's feintable and dodge attacks that he can cancel into other dodge attacks. Not super strong at all but still a pest.

As for Nuxia i think i've fought like 5 all together but from my experience they just light spam then throw out the occasional trap to catch your parry attempts and turtle most of the time. There light spam is annoying but counterable. Combine that with the traps and the character just forces me to turtle back and the entire fight is just boring.

I know they can't remove them from the game i'm not stupid. But honestly they just seem like pests.

unlike the other factions china was never known for their ancient warriors

i feel like the only reason they added this faction is cause they got sponsored by some chinese company or something, this faction feels forced and out of place,

it feels like they belong from a crouching tiger hidden dragon movie
