I had this same issue back in the day when I got the first season pass.
You have to....if I remember right, close Uplay and Steam (like totally exit the programs).
Then restart steam .
And then restart Uplay as ADMIN. Right click the icon on your desktop and select ''run as admin''.
Then run For Honor. You should have like a ''link product'' pop up or something on Uplay.
It will probably work. Assuming I remembered right what to do. If it doesn't work you better off calling your local Ubisoft support. That's what I did back then and got it to work.
Awww sucks. Oh well you'll just have to wait abit then.
Edit:
That's also a good idea. Do it both on Steam and Uplay.
Edit 2:
Now that I think of it I might have uninstalled Uplay client and redownloaded and installed it back then too....
Anyway also run everything as Admin too, Steam, Uplay and For Honor. I'm 99% sure my issue was because Uplay didn't work properly, like it needed admin rights or For Honor needed it, something along those lines.
1. Uninstalled Uplay and exit For Honor
2. Clicked Verify game files via steam
3.I launched the game and Steam automatically installed Uplay
4.Success!
Thanks for the resolution on my problem.
