PvE Coop?

Hi - is PvE coop in the game? If so - how would you rate it?

Steam lists online co-op as a feature but not sure if they just mean co-op in the sense of being in teams vs other teams.

The Marching Fire Edition (base game + MF expansion) is on sale at Greenman for £20 but would only go for it for PvE teamplay vs NPCs.

You can play alone of in a group of friends or random people if you wish. PVE is pretty fun. PVP is better. I like both tho. Some lvl 3 bots can had you your ass if you ain't actually paying attention. All and All I say it's very worth the purchase. I have all the passes don't regret my purchases.

Thanks for your help! A quick google seems to say that arcade (the only pve coop?) is strictly a 2 person thing. Is that right?

We are a group of 4 who bounce between pve only games of The Division, Elite Dangerous, Empyrion and Conan. Think we're finally beginning to find things a bit stale so are looking for a new game to add to the stable!

Arcade is for 2 players only, Story mode im not sure, but its coop too, and Multiplayer can have a group of 8 people to do a custom match or 4 to do a match with other people

You can play dominion, tribute, deathmatch and breach all in 4 player co op against bots. Almost everything is some sort of co op. Yes Arcade is only up to 2 people. The other 4 modes are fun tho =D

Sorry - one last question! Do we all have to have the same version of the game for the modes to be available?

I currently have the starter version that was free at some time I think -if I bought the Marching Fire edition would everyone else have too as well? Does the starter edition even have all these modes anyway.

Yeah. If the host has the Marching Fire edition, the other friend should able to play the Arcade mode. Tho that mode only allow 2players, while your group is 4. So it's kinda awkward.
Story mode and multiplayer mode is not in Marching Fire so it's surely okay.
And if you're new to this game, while it's a bit hard, play Story mode in realistic.
It gives a lot of customization. So do it first, make your Hero looks cute is the most important.

Ahh - thanks for that. Didn't realise that Marching Fire didn't contribute to the 4 play pve side of things. Maybe we should just try starter edition or standard edition if required.

Well, if you are not low on money, just buy Standard edition, Starter is really grindy, you sure can have all the Heroes and stuffs, but it will takes a lot of times.
Marching Fire also gives a lot of cool thing like effects, and Arcade mode does give unique effects. Maybe its all about effects.
