Ubisoft, How do they stand up quickly?
is there something you should press when getting knocked down to stand up quickly? Noticed it again, when getting matched with hundred reps players.

No, there is no button that will make your hero get up quicker when they are thrown to the ground.

If someone has revenge, they can use its activation to cancel the recovery times of getting hit or whiffing their own moves.

The feat some are referring to is called "Rock Steady" and it can be unlocked only in 4v4 modes on Aramusha and Shugoki. When this passive feat is active, it will prevent them from being thrown to the ground when out of stamina.

Highlander's Caber Toss, and Centurion's charged punch is pretty much useless now.

yeah... "R" when you have revenge mode pending

What are you guys talking about? Like a highlander throws you down then they get up and parry the heavy? So confused

So activating revenge mode cancels fall animation? You know if there's a specific timing for that? I've never tried that before.

Exactly, if you're using Cent or Highlander as main, you would noticed it too in some players. They get up quickly even though they didn't have revenge mode or anything. I've seen it when fighting Aramusha, Shugoki, Orochi, and Conqueror so far.

Aramusha I know has a skill where they can't lose balance, but I've noticed this a lot with Shugoki's. I'll flip them as a lawbringer and before I can get even a light off they just stand up with guard ready. What's really confusing is how this only happens with the fat boi and not with, say, the ninja or orochi who are fit enough to naruto backflip around.

He has a feat that prevents him from being thrown iirc. Doesn't help him much though tbh

case closed, it's a feat then.

The feat prevents you from being knocked down at all though, it doesn't make you stand up faster because you physically can't be knocked down.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

as a Highlander main I notice this alot. I noticed it more when fighting Cents.

There is no button or command that makes you get up faster, that will only happen against Aramusha or Shugoki if they have the Rock Steady feat, which makes it so they can't be knocked down by ANYTHING once it's unlocked, and for moves like Highlander's Caber Toss or Lawbringer's Long Arm, they get back up immediantly once they hit the ground, essentially denying any follow-ups.

conqeror has a faster recovery time, maybe debuff resistence adds to the speed you get up? since it makes stuns not that bad?

I think it's just a bug game or connection. It happens constantly.
