try to use Fiber optical compare to old moderm with Coxal cable
I wish there was some way to make people who are lagging to simply be unable to input attacks (or at least make them come out late/delayed) if they have a lag spike or have ping 70+.
In a game like For Honor (or any fighting game, really), the advantage should naturally be to the player with lower ping (or at least a fair playing field for those with 50 ping and below).
How often would you say you run into players we really high ping?
For instance, laggers attacks come out faster. (Attacks you throw at them come out faster too-- on their screen, anyway). Although this may seem fair on paper, I really do think high latency players should have some input delay in addition to the lag compensation we have now. Players should be penalized for having high ping-- not rewarded in the way they are now due to the lag compensation!
Is that right? When I was up in Big Bear (high elevation mountain region) for the holidays and 1v1ing my buddies at our cabin, we all had like 160 ping and could see each other's screens. The light attacks were coming out extra fast for just about everyone there. Granted, we were playing via mobile hotspots. It was really bad (but extremely funny!)
Here's how it looks via a clip I made. Sorry about the toaster quality:

I suppose only high ping users get sped up lights then. Based on your input, I'd wager that low ping users have slower lights then.
every game man. The worst part of it is people intentionally make themselves lag by downloading or having a bunch of tabs open with streams.
Its killing the game man.
Its infuriating to have someone running around with 119 ping all game emote spamming while they skip segments of animations.
If ubi thinks theyll lose more players by kicking the higher pings theyre wrong theyll continue to lose more as more people get enraged from playing vs high pingers.
Then in 2v2 or 4s, being anywhere near a 100+ pinger causes the game to lag out for everyone.
