Yea after a while i just switched to shaolin and won my matches but it is still annoyed to fight the same character for so long
But I'm a Cent main, until the new characters come out, myself.
I hold no ill opinion towards the people playing him tho.
if you can see his oranges coming and react to them consistently, centurion sucks. he has no way of opening his opponent. in this respect he's almost as bad as aramusha. not THAT bad, but almost.
the thing about fighting centurion is that it is easy to protect yourself from him. however, you can and WILL make a mistake or two when trying to initiate attacks. if he gets a parry and gets what he needs to initiate his WOMBO COMBO even once, half of your health is gone.
in short, centurion is easy to fight but deals extremely heavy damage if he ACTUALLY LANDS a hit confirm. so even if he's easy to fight, he's also very punishing if you make a mistake. it is because of these sweet moments of heavy damage that so many people love to play him.
centurion is broken. not in the way that he is extremely unbalanced or overpowered. simply that he is so inconsistent and his entire playstyle revolves around that one sweet, sweet hit confirm. it shouldn't be that way, but it is, and it can be frustrating for most match ups (of course, unless you play a character just like centurion in this respect, like shugoki)
