Observables and breakables if you quit

I have finished the campaign, now I just noticed that if you're missing some, you can just find them and quit to the menu, it will count. But the thing is, I've done this two times and didn't receive any reward (or at least it didn't appear any notification), I don't know if it's due to quitting of it just wasn't meant to receice anything. How does it work?

you can get breakables if you quit, but i think you need to finish for observables.

You get observables, they save. I'm just not sure about the rewards.

Does every single observable have it's reward?

I think you need to get the rewards at the end of the missions, like when it gives you xp and stuff.

If you're getting any breakables on these plays, you should be getting 10-30 steel at the end.

It'd be best to finish the level.

i believe getting all observables in a level gives you a single reward.
