Warden on the other hand well, Hes not in a super bad spot, But hes not in a good spot
Comparing him and kensei or him and any other hero infact litterly carries no weight as heros arn't ment to be the same.
Wardens rework allows him to slightly spam faster just with out as many shoulder bashs that is pretty much about it, Kensei is in a perfect spot imho.
The best way to judge as to how effective/fun a Hero is, in this game, is to see how many different ways you can attack with them. Lawbringer, Orochi, Shugoki and Warlord are generally viewed as bad because they are linear, and hence predictable. Shaman, Highlander, Kensei and Berserker, are generally viewed as good because they are non linear, and hence unpredictable.
Kensei's rework gave the player many methods and mix-ups. Orochi's did not. Warden's did not.
Warden's top unblockable heavy, is slow enough to attempt a parry, see the feint, retract the parry and block the zone/top light punish. This leaves the Warden with only his Nerfed SB as a means of opening turtling players. Warden has, from a competetive perspective, not changed in a positive manner as a result.

Sure it won't do much once people catch onto it, but right now it does get opponents by surprise, enough to make their reflexes kick in and make them dodge for a GB or light dodge parry.
