Story mode 5k steel reward

If you're doing the story mode with your friends, will you still get 5k steel or will you get less than that?

I would imagine all involved get the reward.

I believe the amount you get is dependent on the difficulty setting. You get the reward (I only just had the insentive to play it) I did realistic and got.... 6k? idk i wasn't keeping track

I get that, but will my friend get the steel for completing the story mode if i help him trough it while he is the host?

Depends on wether or not they finished the storymode I think.

I finished it already but my friend has not, so if he's hosting and i help him complete the story mode would he get the steel?

When I did the Story on Hard I got like 10-11k I think, I got every collectable stuff though.
