Offline mode
Are they any plans in the future to add a offline mode where you can play the campaign and against bots when the servers are down or when you don’t have internet?

Please answer

I don't think so.

Why? We as a community should demand one, or else what’s the point.

What is the point about asking for buffs and nerfs to x character?

What’s the point of playing and learning characters and strategies?

What’s the point of spending money getting steel and buying cosmetics for your hero if you don’t even own it?

Without a offline mode you don’t own any of this stuff!!!!! It’s a rent a game that will be taken away from you one day.

What fighting game is always online only?

We as a community going forward should demand one from the devs before asking for anything else. If we don’t in five years time when the casuals go away Ubisoft is not gonna pay to host servers and it’s bye bye game.

Please guys don’t let that happen. This is not a mmo, or a Destiny, or Overwatch. Please again as a community we need to push for a offline mode. Be it split screen local or just against bots. Just something to preserve this game we love.

An offline mode is the last thing the game needs right now. Reworks and balancing are way infront of offline mode as far as priorities go. Maintanences only affect the game 5% percent of the time while the ballance 95%. No need of an offline mode right now.

Your reading comprehension is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ isn’t FulBIT? Again what is the point of reworks and balancing if on a moments notice you can get locked out of the game!!!

Don’t be stupid a offline mode is a easy fix then they could go fix everything else

Agreed except for the campaign that will hopefully be updated and playable offline one day.

@Zobek

Are you crazy? So you are ok with not owning the game? When the servers are under maintenance or down you can’t play the game you paid for......

No wonder they get away with this ♥♥♥♥ you people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sheep!!!!

First, calm the f*ck down.
Second, you're on Steam, and Steam, mind you, has the right to take back your account and everything on it on a whim.
So yeah I'm ok with online only on an online game :)

This game NEEDS an offline mode. It would make the tournament scene easier to manage and grow. Two, what CJA brought up. It gives the consumer a peace of mind that they actullay own the game they bought. And three for perservation sake as well. Why are people so adamant about an offline mode is bewildering beyond belief. This game is not an MMO or BR. This is a fighting game.

The evolution of titles like Bushido Blade and Samurai Showdown. And most definitely influenced by the comabt of the PVP or Dark Souls(A game that can be played offline but is meant for online for the full experiance)The community should really be pushing for this if they want it to grow. Rainbow 6 can be played offline in custom games. So no excuses.

An offline mode would kill the PvE team based modes though, so I don't think it'd be wise.

So? Rainbow 6 can be played offline in custom games. Is about options. It will be great to ask for bots like certain shooters do but that takes work, which I understand. But an option for custom games like R6 would be great.

:/
Really ?
Can you play WoW offline for example ?
A multiplayer game is besed on MULTIPLE PLAYERS.
I made my point, only the campaign should be playable offline, because it's meant to be a tutorial and is not a multiplayer mode (ok you can invite a friend but still).
Think what you want but Steam actually can do that without giving a single reason to justify themselves, it's written in the 10km long text block when you create your account.

At least some reason in there, that'd be an alternative way to do it I gues...
But remember that for honor isn't a tactical game.

My worry is that the game will be unplayable if the servers ever go down. At least let us play against bots without having to contact the servers first.
