It is not graphics unit, so it is most certainly that lack of ram and a low tier processor.
I myself have a GTX 960 with 16 gig ram and quad core I7 processor. I play this game on high graphics with 60 FPS. You should be far better off than me with a graphics unit like that.
From what little research I did online, it is apparently a longstanding bug that's never been dealt with. Not sure there's anything that can be done.
At least that happened to me. I uninstalled all of those apps, no more stuttering.
Does Win10 still do this stupid thing with "fullscreen optimizations" ? If it does, you might want to try and disable it.
I always found that game quite well optimized compared to most AAA. It actually runs more than well on my old PC with a terrible CPU. The only issue I had was Memory Leak, but for now it seems fixed.
Assuming that your hardware is working properly, your GPU is obviously not the issue, what's your CPU ? What do you run in the background while playing For Honor ? What's your ingame settings ? Is your RAM or CPU maxed out when playing the game ?
I mean, I'm running Win 8.1 with a GTX 1060 6GB, but an outdated AMD A8-6600K APU as well as 8GB RAM and I got no issues at all...
I did get a warning that my VRAM is almost maxed out but I didn't notice any FPS drops... then again I only played a bit over 2 hours so far, and only the story mode.
