Tiandi, good or bad?

I've played him in both the open test and now, and I know he got some good number buffs, he still feels rather underwhelming.

I know he's supposed to be a dodge specialist, but his side dragon dodge don't seem to have I-Frames on it? I get lighted out of it by a Jiang Jun and the other Wu Lins every time.

Compared to the others, he feels rather weak, with a variety of tools that don't benefit him much. It might just be my fault and maybe I'm missing a very crucial mix-up or something, but I'd still like to know your thoughts.

If you guys have some advice, please leave them down below, and I would really like to know how his I-Frames works on his side dragon dodge. I'm not giving up on Tiandi.

The best advice I can give is to stop playing that character. Sounds like a gimmicky pos

tiandi is really strong and has some of the best defense and good offense, they are strong in 1s and 4s, some of the things that make him strong is his dodge attacks palm strike and zone

How is his defence strong? Is there any tricks to blocking or parrying?

hes got crushing counter dodge light, option select, and the most iframes in the game (side dodge heavies). His side dodge heavies can also be hard feinted back to netural or soft feinted into any dodge attack

Plus his big kick can now be soft feinted into a dodge light so you can possibly punish anyone who dodges it.
