Hell, it's even easier to get now compared to release.
Still a pretty hefty price tag for if someone were to theoretically grab everything though.
That's $305.187 Aud as well, for anyone curious.
There's your problem.
It isn't dependent on them at all, in fact I don't know anyone who's actually bought Steel.
It is easy to get. People keep forgetting orders exist. You can easily rake in 1k a or more a day, wait for the reset then do them again.
Anyone farming for Steel through games isn't farming Steel properly.
Its not set up for the player to unlock "everything". It's designed for you to get what you really want.
Unless the player is one of those completionist people that "has" to have everything.....
And it's not like you're constantly buying mythic outfits or executions. I've found that I sometimes have 20k steel with nothing really to spend it on.
besides, who the hell plans to buy every item in the game? that's something you'd do when you've bought everything you want, not right off the bat.
Personally, I play 2 or 3 heroes at the same time, and never really care that much about cosmetics. If any, I would aim for a 'dull' look (unlocked color presets, no fancy ornaments, default equipment looks, etc) to make the other team underestimate me. The biggest amount of steel I've spent so far is to unlock the 9 standard heroes (bc I own the free starter edition). Tbh it was a waste, but I don't even care that much. I don't think you need any more than 30k steel for one hero's cosmetic, because aside from the mood effects everything else is just hard to see in-game. With that said, Daily Orders as they are right now are just about right.
