WTF am i missing with shaman

I totally fail to see how shaman is op, sure i havea few good fights wherei get the steam role but thats very few and far between, she is just a gimmick. and a gimmick which for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason never works. soft feinting into stab is just about always blocked. her heavies are slow and easily parryable. she cant really open up turtles.

Her only plus is her gb push distance and her pounce. which is a pretty good opener but again second attack just gets parried.

SF from unblockable into gb is easily stopped.

What has she got that i couldnt accomplish with gladiator. idk but so far she just seems like a gimmick

I usually just run around with her to cap points like the game is Mirrors Edge while ignoring fights cause she's fast but very weak 1 v 1. Sometimes I use her combo's but they just don't work at all, especially the pounce ability that regens health and instead she knocks enemies back. Useless.

How long have you played her for? She has a LOT of potential. You just need to mix up more and be more unpredictable. Don't go for the bite right away like a moron. Everyone and their dog sees that coming. Feint a LOT. Feint different attacks into others all the time. Dodge and attack like a crazy ♥♥♥♥♥. Don't spam headbutt all the time.

Work on your defence. This was the hardest thing about shaman for me personally. I used to play LB and dodging was not my thing. Wasn't used to the decaying block thing either. Focus and don't attack in a pattern or you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Be unpredictable.

Shaman is weak 1v1? LMAO.

The headbutt will only turn into the pounce if the enemy has bleed damage active on them. Once the bleed damage finishes, it will turn into a bash again. Jesus.

That's simply not true.
I see a lot of shaman players .
If you're able to win shaman players with Orochi and Shugoki, they're just bad. It'd be the same if I would've called highlander a trash hero just because I have beaten Highlanders as Valkyrie.

I see more shaman than a lot of other heroes in the game period.

She isn't weak, you just don't know how to play her and are playing ♥♥♥♥ players. You didn't even know how to do predator's mercy lmao. Who are you to say shaman is bad when you don't even know the basic moveset?

I still disagree with you on both 'decent shaman' and "I see a lot of shaman players". Matchmaking is mostly filled with Orochis or Vanguards.
