Unbalanced matches
I've been playing this game since they gave it away for free during E3. At first it was fun and I enjoyed fighting against all the people who were trying it out as I was. But it seems since then most of those new players have already gotten bored with the game and finding high level players is becoming more and more common. This wouldn't be a problem if the game was in any way capable of balancing the teams, but for some reason I always end up in teams with 0-3 prestige characters, while the enemy team has 5-9 prestige characters. If I'm lucky I may get one high prestige player in my team every now and then but it hardly makes a difference.

Now, you could say that prestige doesn't equal skill, but in my experience that's bullsh*t. I get steamrolled every ♥♥♥♥ing game, and the few times I win a match is because we steamroll their team. And even if it doesn't equal skill, it equals better equipment. I'm not a bad player, but I'm nowhere near good enough to carry a team. And the characters themselves also being unbalanced doesn't help. It's frustrating because I like the game and I want to become better at it, but I keep getting matches against high level Centurions and their ♥♥♥♥ing stunlock, high level Orichis and their ♥♥♥♥ing light attacks, etc... which just make me want to quit completely.

Am I the only one with this problem? Is it normal for this game to be this unbalanced? Why has Ubi done nothing about it? If every person who tried this game out during E3 eventually run into this problem it's no wonder they left, because I swear I'm one Centurion stunlock away from uninstalling and never thinking about this game again.

Whelp, It's always going to be like that.

So I assume this means it's always been this way. That's a shame, the game itself is already hard enough without the player skill difference. I suppose it's time to uninstall.

The problem is that you have to learn how to play

Yes, This game is far from dead, But back then it had an ok matchmaking system as there was a lot of players, The players the game has pale in comparison to what it once was, But the game isn't dead so your always going to find a brawl/dominion/duel matchs everything else is non-favorable, So the matchmaking is going to be like this for the rest of the period.

Maybe when the chinese come out it will improve matchmaking as old players will return, Well maybe they will long enough to try the game then turn around and leave because the current state of some characters.

I want to, but I'm sure you understand that playing against players who are vastly better than I am isn't an effective nor a fun way of doing so. I only have so much patience.

Well, thanks anyway. I'll think about checking it out again if I see a substantial increase in the playerbase. Ubisoft revitalized Rainbow Six Siege, let's hope they manage to do the same with For Honor.
