How do you bite with Shaman?

I'm sitting here with a friend in 1v1 trying to figure out how to bite with her. I know you have to make them bleed but I can't even figure that out. I sound like a noob but I literally don't know. I've tried everything but I just cant make it work

Dodge back and press gb.

As I said, I can't figure out how to make them bleed.

at a heavy startup do a light attack and itll soft feint to a bleed or deflect light will go to a bleed aswell

Heavy soft feint into bleed.
Or light after a combo.
