I mean, yeah, they are pretty cool but most of them suck. I can only agree with you about Kensei and Orochi(tough call even after rework). And you can't compare them with the Shaman, Highlander and Glad because they're not good as them in 4v4 and even in 1v1 sometimes.
I agree though. Samurai have pretty bad heroes, prolly due to reasons within the developers that will never go answered honestly. I mean it would require some deep internal review to understand why they would do what they did to that faction.
won't happen.
Still love Nobushi, she's my fave out of the whole game. But I wouldn't say she's anything like a favored, OP Highlander or anything. She's really tough to play, telegraphs everything and requires you to be ACE to get anywhere. Samurai lack anything blatantly OP. Cause like, why would they do that ever for the Samurai?
If Samurai ever got an OP stupid easy to play class it would probably be a hero that wasn't even from Japan. it will happen, it will be the Samurais very own Highlander. Maybe even William Wallace. Never know.
Sun Wukong from Journey to the West.
BETTER YET, SON GOKU FROM DBZ!
Doesnt even use a weapon, just punches people.
but i would say zerker is too good
ofcourse he is above avarge but i wouldnt put him too high
Excuse me? Are we calling this a benefit? Is Warden now considered good? Did I miss a memo somewhere?
Shugo and Mushroom-man are ass, but Nobushi is one of the best turtles in the game. A Nobushi's (who knows how to use hidden stance) defense beats almost everything in the game (top tier picks like Zerker because hyper armor and Glad because zone, etc, not withstanding). It's pretty trashy design because she can only play defense, and forcing her to use an inarguably broken option-select as her main strategy highlights how much they've neglected her, but Nobushi is far from weak.
Shaman? Only powerful viking? Much stronger than the others?
I know you like to pretend that Zerker isn't top tier and is still difficult to play, but in the real world where 'fawning over our mains' is not considered an objective perspective, 400ms hyper armor feint lights that chain into unblockables with a variable delay in release timings, generally being massively unsafe to parry in everything that one does, being able to recovery cancel whiffs into 600ms side dashes, near-permanent hyper armor on everything and guardbreak utility from a deflect is both extremely strong and easy to use.
Similarly, Highlander has incredible speed, safety, OOS pressure and utility thanks to his
effectively 300ms offensive stance attacks, 400ms dodge recovery, true OOS 50/50, range, and the various exploitable tech that goes with it, like max range offensive stance heavies being uncounterable and combat emote mixups to remove usual audio cues and shorten follow-up animations.
Berserker is not the pinnacle of skilled gameplay, nor is he the underdog of any sort or anything short of a top tier duelist (and an extremely competent team fighter to boot), and Shaman is not your scapegoat. Your denial has gone beyond passasbly ignorant and has become grating.
Well, I did not say that Warden is good but when you compare his offensive abilities against heroes like Goki or Nobushi, I think he is an better pick than them. Yes, he has a very limited moveset and a double dodge back can make his shoulderbash useless but still I have the feeling that Warden is a tiny little bit underradet in my opinion. And that is what separates him from Nobushi for example. I don't know if it's still the thing but a time ago the devs were saying that they want the game to be mix between guessing and reactions and Nobushi has none of the guessing part in her kit. Which leads to turtling.
I can agree on this one, but I wasn't purely talking about weak or strong. They're heroes that are very boring to play because you can't force out an action out of your opponent which would make the pace of the fight way faster and more interesting. Plus, I think there should be no turtles in the game because they're both unpleasant to play as/against. Would you say Nobushi is better in 1v1 or 4v4? My take on it is that she is better and more fun to play in 4v4 because of the time pressure that makes both players play aggresively and the same time pressure that eliminates turtling.
Less turtling = More fun for both parties
Am I right?
Could work.
I would cry.
Maybe that guy from Nioh. Thats what they will do!
