Controller or Keyboard.
I was wondering if I am lowering my skill by using a controller while others might be using keyboard and mouse. Am I making it harder for myself by using a controller compared to keyboard and mouse or is it just whatever feels better for me? Also what do yall use?

It all comes down to personal preference. Competitive players use both.

There are some small hiccups with both though.

Gamepad: If you don't edit your joystick deadzone to be smaller/non-existent you will have trouble parrying light attacks (Any 500ms attack really) and the default Counter-Guardbreak button is X/Square, so you have to remove your thumb from the joystick to CGB without rebinds. I have absolutely no trouble with this as I've built up muscle memory but it peeves some people.

KB/M: If your sensitivity is high you might experience Guard-Slippage™ because any slight movement of the mouse will trigger a guard switch. Some people prefer this, though. A mouse with extra buttons for the thumb is great for rebinds (Specifically the GB key) so you don't have to reach to E (I think the default is E, could be wrong. Edit: Yes, was wrong. It's MMB. E is feint.)

Just use what you're more comfortable with.

Actually, controller is the best option to play this game, however if your more comfortable with KB/M, you should definetly go there. Just rebind the keys as some are kinda hard to reach.

I use a KB/M and its working for me. Honestly is all comes down to self preference.

I started with K/M but after a while changed to Controller. I prefer the last now, but I think what feels better to you is the deal.
